Dear Reader

A beach hotel ATMOSPHERE • At the tip of Denmark in the town of Skagen, Henrik and Malene have a summer cottage which they use all year round. Skagen is a special place to be no matter the season. This is where the two oceans meet and where you’ll notice the special light that have inspired many painters for centuries.

Modern OPEN SANDWICHES • These sandwiches are simple and delicious. Use them as a light lunch dish, an appetizer or just a snack. Right now, the tomatoes are particularly tasty and if you slow-roast them, they’ll be even tastier and sweeter. You can also use them as an accompaniment to pies and warm dishes. Enjoy!

SOFT ROMANCE meets the raw, industrial style

A passion for FLOWERS

The recycling GODDESS

FIFI O´NEILL • Who isn’t looking for a bit more romance in life? The kind of romance that makes your heart relax when you step into your home. This is a soft and contemplative style, and by adding fresh flowers, expressive art and subdued colors, you can bring grace and a personal touch to any room. That’s what the new book by Fifi O’Neill is all about and this is also, you might say, the essence of her life.

French art AND VINTAGE

NATURAL TREASURES • A wreath-making workshop in Chateau de Bourgon in the most beautiful surroundings. When we bring guests along to the castle, we often go to the forest to collect materials for decorations and wreaths, and then we make decoration items. On the following pages, you can find inspiration on how to use natural treasures to make wreaths – free of charge.

THE GARDEN HARVEST Apples, pears and tomatoes • Very soon, the gardens will be full of fruit and vegetables. We’ll want to use the harvest of the season, and here are our tips for some simple and tasty dishes with apples, pears and tomatoes.

Simple and healthy VEGETARIAN FOOD • My fairy garden is buzzing with activity. Sometimes, I just stand there watching the flowers move in the wind or I see a bee carefully landing on the flowers to suck up the fine nectar. The blackberries are quickly...
