In this science fiction series, Wolf Ballantyne has spearheaded the rebellion against Global Unity but after his most horrific mission yet begins to feel revulsion for so much that the rebellion has made him do. The incident makes him question if the pandemic apocalypse and the globalist political intrigue of the time are just purely human activities and not actually the work of alien tyrants but he balks at believing that it's anything other than human greed and capriciousness at play until he begins to explore the concept and the reality of astral projection.
Two of his closest colleagues are in contact with the ancient and wealthy Valhalla organization and when they hear of Wolf's success in reaching the astral, Valhalla becomes interested and the game begins to change.
Some of the most active field agents in the Wolf Pack think that the astral is a useless distraction but with the situation verging on catastrophe, something has to change. After years in the field, Wolf knows damn well that things aren't always what they seem and his brief initial effort, successful in itself, is followed by longer episodes with even more surprising results.
