There Sam meets Dax. The charming and kind mercenary is everything her ex never was. Her blissful online escape is soon disrupted by Voss, an abrasive rogue intent on separating them by any means necessary.
The deeper into the game she goes, the more she realizes nothing is what it seems. As wonderful as Dax is, something about him doesn't quite fit. And Voss feels like more of a threat than just an in-game troll.
Everything comes to a head as the long weekend draws to a close, the truth of Dax's story is revealed, and the danger becomes far too real. Can Sam put the pieces together to protect Dax and escape Voss before it's too late?
